Statutory Accounts

Every limited company is required by law to maintain records which demonstrate all financial transactions carried out by that company.

As well as completing Corporation Tax and VAT Returns (where appropriate), companies must also file annual statutory accounts with Companies House, which are then held in a public registry.

These typically include a balance sheet, profit and loss account and director's report, but in the case of companies which qualify as small or medium sized, a shorter set of 'abbreviated accounts' may be filed, thereby limiting the amount of information in the public domain.

To ensure you do not fall foul of legislation or an unexpected audit, it is advisable that you seek professional advice with regards to your statutory accounts.

Our Services

The Accounts Office offer preparation, production and submission of unaudited annual statutory accounts to Companies House for Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) trading as incorporated limited companies not subject to audited accounts.
